Stacy Edwards

My name is Stacy, and I am a Baltimore, Maryland native. I earned my Associate Degree in Nursing from Catonsville Community College in 2000, followed by my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Stevenson University and my Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from Wilkes University.

My nursing career began with a focus on Maternal-Child Health and Pediatrics, with experience in both adult and pediatric emergency care. In 2018, my passion for mental health emerged, leading me to pursue a career dedicated to psychiatric care. Since then, I have had the privilege of caring for patients across the lifespan and within a variety of settings, including inpatient hospitals, outpatient care, forensic psychiatry, and addiction medicine.

My approach to care is collaborative and patient-centered. I believe in working as a team with my patients, listening carefully to their concerns, understanding their individual goals, and developing a treatment plan together. Education is an important part of this process, and I strive to ensure that my patients feel informed and empowered in their care. We will explore treatment options together, including holistic approaches and medication when appropriate and indicated.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, swimming, and spending quality time with my family. I value the importance of balance, connection, and making time for the things that bring joy and fulfillment to life.
