Alexandra Batalla is a psychotherapist with 13 years of experience, specializing in helping individuals overcome abuse, depression, and anxiety, achieving lasting freedom within months.

I am a dedicated and compassionate professional in the field of social work and mental health. I have a Master’s in Social Work from the University of SouthFlorida and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of CentralFlorida. I feel I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact on individuals and communities. I have 13 years of being in the psychiatric setting. As a therapist who experienced overcoming abuse, my goal is to provide my patients lasting freedom from cpstd/ptsd, narcissistic abuse, debilitating depression and anxiety within three months. By providing a safe space, I use somatic therapies, dbt, nervous system regulation tools, inner child/story work to help patients find hope and lasting change.

Prior to my current work I have held key positions, including School-Based MentalHealth Therapist at The Florida Center for Early Childhood, PRN Therapist atSarasota Memorial Hospital, Children’s Counselor at Camelot Community Care, and various other impactful roles. In these positions, I provided counseling,psychoeducational services, and therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, including children, individuals with epilepsy, survivors of humantrafficking, and those with persistent mental illness.

I have consistently shown a commitment to professional development, earning a Social Work License and certifications in TraumaResolution Treatment (TRT). I am fluent in both English and Spanish.I have been involved in community service, serving as aPeer-Mentor for The Lovely Project, assisting with mentorship groups atUniversity Behavioral Center, and advocating for clients’ rights as a GuardianAdvocate Intern with the Mental Health Association.I continue to evolve professionally and remain dedicated to thewell-being of individuals and communities, leveraging skills, knowledge, andpassion for social work to make a lasting and positive impact.
